Cancellations (Please be advised that the Cancellation Policy may only be waived for the reasons related to the health emergencies)
When booking a treatment, your time is reserved especially for you, so we respectfully ask for 24 hours notice to cancel or change your appointment. This will allow us to accommodate other clients that are in need of a treatment.
We welcome you to send a friend or a family member in your place.
We do offer reminders 48, 24 and two hours prior to your booking. However, if 24 hours is not provided the fee of $31.50 will be applied or $61.95 fee for 90 or 120 min treatments.
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the treatment as booked.
We can not direct bill for missed appointments. However, we will provide you with a receipt for the late cancelled or missed appointments to keep for your records.
Arrival to Your Appointment
First time clients are respectfully asked to arrive only 10 minutes earlier. This allows time to do required paperwork. Repeat clients are encouraged to arrive 5 minutes before their scheduled time for an unrushed experience.
If late arrival is inevitable, your treatment may be shortened in order to keep on schedule, and you will be charged the full service amount.
With all due respect the late arrivals will not receive extension of scheduled appointments. In special cases, and if our schedule will allow, we may be able to accommodate a full appointment. This will be at your therapist's discretion and with any sort of notification of your late arrival.
When accommodating late clients, the treatment will be charged at 100%.
The therapists at Helga's Massage and Wellness Clinic are trained and prepared to work with children. If the child is younger than 18 years old, we will ask a parent or guardian to sign a consent form and encouraged to sit in on the treatment.
In case if any emergency situation comes up, please let us know, so that we can treat your specific case with personal attention. We believe that there are circumstances that are out of your control and your therapist may make an exception to the above policies on those rare occasions.
As health care providers we must collect a certain amount of personal information from you in order to safely treat you. Your massage therapy records are kept in the strictest confidence by this clinic. Your records will not be released to third parties, including health care providers and insurance companies without your consent. Records may be surrendered only if required by law.
Gift Certificates Policies and Guidelines
All sales of gift certificates are final.
If a gift certificate is lost, stolen, or destroyed it will not be replaced.
Gift certificate cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
The original gift certificate has to be presented at the time of redemption.
If the service value exceeds the amount of the gift certificate, the remaining balance can be settled by another form of payment.
Gift certificates owners are strongly encouraged to redeem their certificates within one rolling year to avoid paying extra in case the prices increase and to avoid any changes to the treatments or clinic’s policies that might affect the certificate redemption. Please check with business webpage or Facebook page for any changes or updates.
If applicable, the gift certificate owner will be contacted by our staff with a friendly reminder to redeem their certificate.
Gift certificate balance can be redeemed at once or can be split between several treatments.
In case of a missed appointment with no prior notice, the clinic reserves the right to redeem a gift certificate to cover a No Show fee (only applies to appointments booked to use a gift certificate). The No Show fee receipt will be issued to the gift certificate owner.
Gift certificates can be transferrable and can be reassigned to another person.
Receipts issued at the moment of a gift certificate redemption are not claimable to the client’s extended health benefits.
